Our terms and conditions as it pertains to custom orders and our catalogue items.

CUSTOM WORK AGREEMENT
Ordering
• All custom orders must be accompanied by a signed copy of our drawing and this work agreement.
• PLEASE know the dimensions of your space. We will build to spec, but unless we’re contracted to do so, customer must provide accurate measurements. (Please consider doorways, hall ways, stairs ect. when ordering furniture so that your piece can navigate the path to its intended home.)
• Once an order has been placed your project will go into our queue. You will be notified when we begin and when we’re finished and ready to deliver. We typically run about 6-8 weeks of lead time on custom orders.
Payment
• On all custom orders a deposit of 50% of the total cost will be necessary to go into our queue. The remaining 50% will be paid upon completion/delivery.
• Once the initial deposit is received it is refundable up to 90% BEFORE work begins. Your order can be cancelled (but only BEFORE lumber is purchased for said order or project begins) with a 10% fee.
• Once the project begins/and or lumber is purchased for said project, the deposit is non-refundable.
• On larger projects ($10,000 or more) deposits can be negotiated to be spread out over the course of the project, contact for details.
Changes
• Changes to your order can be made prior to order starting.
• Once your order starts changes (that are possible) are subject to a $50 change fee and any time or materials added to the project to accommodate said changes.
• At a certain point (each project’s different) changes just aren’t feasible. We do our best to communicate as much as possible before beginning a project to avoid any need for changes.
Finish
• We primarily employ hand rubbed oil finishes. Namely Danish oils, shellac and wax when applicable. When/if a more durable finish is desired we finish with a wiping varnish or sprayed lacquer. We can and do provide samples of wood and finish.
• We prefer chalk paint when color is desired for period pieces and distressed/aged finishes.
• When a paint or stain that we don’t carry is desired we ask that clients pick out paint on their own and provide us with either the paint/stain itself or color code.
Delivery
• We deliver curbside in the St. Louis Metro area for $150. For other areas of the country we offer shipping or delivery when necessary.
• If you need additional assistance in delivery contact us with specifics.
• Some of our pieces require set up/assembly with delivery. In these cases we will figure this into the total cost.
Our Guarantee
• We will repair any damage to our furniture at no cost to you providing it did not suffer misuse or abuse.
*this does not pertain to finishes. Almost all finish will need some tlc at some point. Some of our finishes can be rejuvenated onsite, some will require a trip back to the shop for refinishing.*
